Neutral Look (Wet N Wild I <3 Matte Palette)

I wanted to do a look with my Wet n Wild “I Heart Matte” palette and this is what I came up with, I think it looks OK! I used the side of the palette with the neutral colors for this look. I really like this palette, and the colors blend very well. My eyebrows do look a little crazy, but please forgive me growing them in from a bad eyebrow experience ( No more waxing for me).

Shopaholic Review: NYX Matte Lippies

Once I seen the NYX Matte Lipstick, I knew I had to try them. NYX Matte Lipsticks have been out for a little while now, but I was trying to wait until I seen them in Ulta to purchase them. Well they have not made it to Ulta, and I grew impatient, so I placed and order with Cherry Culture. The lipsticks shades I chose were Maison, Shocking Pink, Strawberry Daiquiri, among the many pretty shades. Checkout Just how pretty below!

Overall, I am super happy with the quality of these lippies. The texture is smooth, creamy, and do not dry out your lips like some Matte Lipstick tend to do. Also these lipsticks are easy to apply they are not hard, they go on like a dream. I can’t wait to purchase more shades! Do you own any NYX Matte Lipsticks if so, which colors?

Wet N Wild Cosmetics: Haul & Review

Hey All,
I’m back with another small haul and review of the latest “Wet N Wild” eyeshadow palettes. “Wet n Wild” recently released 4 new eyeshadow palettes, as a part of there limited edition Holiday collection. The collection includes 1 matte eyeshadow palette( I Heart Matte), and 3 baked eyeshadow palettes ( Baked, Not Fried (Blue) Baking A cake (Pinks), Bake Off Contest (Browns). I was do excited about these palettes, because I actually was able to find them in Walgreens near me ( Palettes are Walgreens exclusive). Each of these palettes retail for $4.99, and are selling out fast. Pictures and swatches of the Palettes I picked up are below, I got them all except “Baked, not Fried”(Blue palette), because I don’t really wear blue shadow that often so I skipped that one.

Overall, I am very happy with this collection from “Wet n Wild”, the quality and pigmentation of the eyeshadows are great. I did not experience too much fallout while doing the swatches, and the baked eyeshadows can be applied wet or dry ( applying shadows wet will make them more vibrant). Also these eyeshadows have great texture, they are not very hard to work with. The “I Heart Matte” palette was very easy to work with, I just knew these eyeshadows would be hard and stiff but they were soft and easy to blend., These palettes would make great gifts for the makeup lovers in your life, and are very affordable. Do you own these palettes?

Checkout the video for "We Like to Party" By Beyonce which is on her debut album entitled "4". If you don't own this CD you should ( just my opinion), one of her best albums. This video is so fly, I love all the colors, and it reminds me of a backyard party back in the day. There are also some guest appreances, can anybody tell me who shows there face in the video? I have been seeing post about the upcoming Wet N Wild Holiday collections, so I decided to take a trip to the Walgreens near my house. To my surprise they had just put out the display for the Wet N Wild “Ice Baby” collection. At first glance I wanted to grab every nail polish on the display, but I took the high route.Considering the fact that here in IA, I have not seen many of the Wet n Wild collections I felt like I struck GOLD!!! I must say these nail polishes are beautiful and glittery and I love them. If you like ( love) Glitter nail polish, this is a collection that you should not overlook. Retail Price $2.99
